Služba zobrazuje fytogeografické členění ČR. Uvedené členění vypracovala v 80. letech 20. století fytogeografická komise Československé botanické společnosti za redakce V. Skalického. Podobně jako jiná regionálně fytogeografická členění zdůrazňuje při vymezování krajinných celků složku vegetace a jejích stavebních kamenů – soubor rostlinných druhů, tj. květenu. Používáno je především v souborném díle „Květena ČR“ při popisu rozšíření jednotlivých druhů.

The general catalogue is the scanned index of books, periodicals and off-prints covering the period 1850 -1986. It contains about 125,000 entries. The catalogue is sorted according to substantives in the name of the publication (including periodicals), and the names of authors. The catalogue was set up in 2001.
INSPIRE view service shows the localization of Vertical electrical sounding (VES) measuring points of selected campaigns, registered in the Czech Republic since 1957.
Map application displays objects belonging to the geohazard category. There are abandoned mine lands, underground mines, mining waste repository, ground instabilities objects and radon map. A short description is supplemented by links to more information. The layer of underground mines contains links to documentary photos.
Scanned bibliographical catalogue contains 100,000 entries of articles, papers, offprints and books published in the Czech and Slovak Republic (former Czechoslovakia) during the years 1928–1989. It's alphabetically sorted by author. Now it is closed.
On-line geological encyclopedia application allows database based on publication "Malá encyklopedie geologie" (Small Geological Encyclopedy) which was published by prof. Jan Petránek in 1993. Publication was digitized with his support and supplemented by new terms. Illustrations was redrawn by J. Synek and some of terms has additional photos.
This application "Geologically documented objects" enables the user to buy his selected data from the database of the geologically documented objects of the Czech Republic (scil. borehole database) managed by the CGS using credit on his account. The database covers the territory of the CR and contains information on about 720,000 documented objects (boreholes, shafts, quarries, caves, wells, surface streams, reservoirs etc.) including about 620,000 borehole profiles and about 120,000 hydrogeological recor...
